Edison Robots and Computer Science
To help bridge the gap and get students in rural areas excited about STEM, Rapid Acceleration has an army of educational robots that are used as a teaching tool. The team mobilizes and puts in the miles to visit schools with our Edison Robots. Students are taught all about computer science, coding, robotics, and engineering with one-hour lessons. The hands-on activities give students the opportunity to experience real life robotics in a fun environment, with an emphasis on relating the skills they are learning to future career opportunities. Sometimes though, the schools are just too remote for the team to travel to, and in those cases Rapid Acceleration hosts remote sessions via Teams or Zoom.
Community Projects
Rapid Acceleration has teamed up with a local Chiropractor and his company to create Fit to Lift, and innovative tool used to determine how much a person can safely lift. Using guidelines set forth by OSHA, Rapid Acceleration created a device to that measures a persons lifting ability at 5 points and transmits the data securely for evaluation.
Giving Back
Rapid Acceleration relies on support from our community to continue building robots and inspiring young minds. We enjoy giving back to our community whenever we can. Some of our projects include: Adopt a Highway, Feeding SD, and Storybook Island.
